All right, fellow owners - there have been WAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too many trades for picks that are on the clock. This only slows the draft down - the league has been very fortunate that the commishes have been as readily available as we have been. Please try to be as respectful as you can to the process of getting the draft completed in a timely manner and NOT trade picks that are on the clock. In year's past, we commishes have been a little more rigid about it, but this year we've let it slide a bit.
Let's finish the draft without any more of these...please!

Packers: I guess that trade worked out. I was targeting Vacarro at 5.02, but really need offensive keepers so I thought I'd take a shot. Glad you got your guy, but also happy I got a guy with potential.

Sorry, I have been lagging in this area. But, I am not actively pursuing any trade when I am on the clock. As soon as I get on the clock, other teams are sending me offers, so I consider them and negotiate with the other owners. Am I technically not supposed to be doing this?

Try fluffing their balls...maybe they'll get their offers in quicker.

Nice work out there.

I think my draft has gone to hell. I'm surprised at the lack of ball bashing I've gotten for it. Unlike last year when I did some foolish things.

Agree, trades should happen BEFORE your pick is up, when it is, you should PICK, not be playing the "trading game" at that point.
Also, Green Bay is the team to pop my trade cherry. First ever! lol, feels good, although the trade only lasted 7 seconds.

Nope, you should not be negotiating while on the clock. Please note that the delays that occur during these negotiations will only get added to the overall time it takes to get the actual pick made as all trades require a commish approval. What happens if a commish isn't readily available to process a trade? Then the traded pick is delayed, along with all the subsequent picks. Of course all these delays could be avoided if the pick(s) are pre-drafted...
