Funny since I started making offers for picks before he was even drafted... in order to draft him. Then tried to make a deal for him after he was drafted. There are other friends in the league too, they don't get the heat we get. The offer I made was a fair offer. It wasn't the first I made, negotiations occurred, a deal was made. I don't understand why the who matters. Unless you think collusion is happening, this kind of public comment is unhelpful. And if you think there is collusion, state it, don't veil it. It's no surprise that people who know each other are more comfortable discussing trades & coming to a deal, but the scrutiny is getting to be a little much. ETA: good prognostication btw Because ifs a joke. On the surface your trade with the Falcons seems legit but the trade between the Falcons and the Vikings was complete garbage. Giving up a late 1st rounder for a late 4th and an early 5th is crap especially since the Vikings didn't even advertise he was looking to trade down. Yes your trade was fair but the other trade in your group stinks. Yes I do think there was collusion. When I received multiple offers for my 1st and then your Vikings buddy picked your favorites team QB I emailed the Titans and told him you'd end up with the Colts team QB. Pretty clever of you to have your Falcons buddy rip him off rather than you so it doesn't look suspicious. Whatever it's a cheap league but every year questionable stuff like this happens and it's getting old so please save us the tears. Full disclosure myself, Titans, Dolphins and Browns are all good friends...I'm also friends with the Jaguars but he doesn't know the rest and the next bs trade you see between us will be the first. I'm sure you and many others will think I'm an ass but whatever I had to get it off my chest. Your facts are not straight. The Vikings owner proposed the trade to the Falcons owner, not the other way around. I never asked the Falcons owner to do anything for me. You just accused me of collusion & I've been a stand-up owner in this league for 6-7 years now. It may be time to go.

Yeah, I know the owners of the Bears, Steelers, and Saints. I try not to trade with those guys, and if I do, I look at the deal twice.
This is all but a free league after all, I'd hate to think any of us would "cheat" in a $3 league.
I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Don't get upset about being criticized colts, it's all part of the game. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, just brush it off and keep going. I think anyone that's been in the league for any length of time has got their balls busted once or twice.

Who knows what motivates people to offer up trades that don't make sense to others. I haven't the first clue. Maybe one team is swingin' at the fences for this year and not concerning themselves with keepers for this year. Maybe another team is more concerned with picking up some late keepers that could materialize into something at some point. Maybe some owners take a FREE league as something that they can take bigger risks with with little to lose, especially in a league they will be a part of year after year. Who knows... but none of us are clairvoyant and not one of us can speak intelligently as to the motives of a particular trade one way or the other. I can certainly appreciate your commentary (Lions) and I certainly admire your enthusiasm but I would ask you to exercise some caution in your slinging around of accusations. Everything here is above board whether you agree with it or disagree with it. You are certainly entitled to your opinion and you're clearly not hesitant to express it. My only request is that you don't throw around accusations without anything concrete to base it on. We're all here because we love fantasy football. There's no other reason that any of us would join a FREE league this size without so much as a free sandwich to play for. So let's move on please.

Friggin' stellar pick on Harvin - I completely blanked it on him.

To be honest, up until yesterday I did too. I totally had someone else and Cordarelle at the top of my draft list ready to go. Then as my pick approached I went back in for one final check to make sure I didn't miss anything. When I saw his name I thought I misread it and it was Perry Harvin or some other 5th stringer. I spent the last day biting my nails hoping someone wouldn't pull a Colts and swipe him.

I was hoping for a week or so that I could get up the 4.01 to get him. I had Patterson as my backup plan. Oh well. . .

Man, draft has really seemed to sloooooooooow down, we were clicking away pretty good for a while there. Now, we appear to be drafting at the speed of smell.

I've had my eye on him since mid round 3 and was stunned he was sitrting there still.. and correct me if I'm wrong (being a newb in this league I want to make sure).. but with him going at 4:01; now that makes him a possible keeper?

The draft is actually moving fast compared to other years. Commissioners haven't even had to put in a timer.
