I know Bush is the second coming of Marshall Faulk but how do you guys ignore Antonio Pittman for 7 1/2 rounds? I considered him back in the 5th but I worried about him being buried as well. But, in hind-sight, Bush will most likely be the man by next year with someone, possibly Pittman, spelling him. Nice pick up in the 8th.

Ravens Draft The best part of the draft was the trade for Steven Jackson... He's my boy! But to lose a keeper RB? I know I don't know much about this league yet but we can only start 3 LB's correct? I made a run on DB's myself but that was just because there wasn't much left on the offensive side of the ball. We'll see if your draft strategy works in the season. I play you twice this year and for every win against you ... I get a case of beer from the Packers.... Cheers!

I am tempted to make the Broncos pick for him! There are only 2 picks left in the draft and he has to take the last TMPK with this pick here. ;D I know, I am not patient. I suppose it is possible that he makes a trade with the Dolphins to acquire the final pick in the draft, then he would not have to take the last TMPK here. At any rate, we have 2 full weeks left until the regular season. This is easily the earliest we have ever finished the draft. Great job to all owners on checking in often, and pre-drafting when necessary. As we usually do, we will have 1 waiver run prior to week 1. This run will happen Wednesday night/Thursday morning prior to the first NFL game of the year. Since the waiver run will happen basically the same day as that first game you have to remember to change your lineup that same day if you wanna start someone from that waiver run that plays on Thursday September 6th. Thanks again for a great draft, and good luck during the season!

Now that the draft is winding down and since we still have two weeks, can we declare this Mock II and start over. This was too much fun ;D

So after this draft is done, trading is open but waivers are only open the week before the 1st week of the season. Are there any rules to the waiver wire process? In other leagues the lowest score was the one who was first for waivers that week.. is this this how it works here? First come first serve on the preseason waiver?

Waiver wire rules for the regular season are in the league rules. Since we have no records or points to go off of in the preseason, we just use the reverse order of the original draft order for the 1 preseason waiver run.
The waiver run order is already set at MFL.com for the initial run.

I assume it's still not cool to bring up names of un-drafted players. There is a top 50 player at a key position that's out there and I'm absolutely stunned that he didn't get picked.

BTW, there are a few players I can't believe weren't drafted myself. Especially on defense, there are a few I wanted to take but didn't have room.
