If you send an IM to a team and you get an error saying they have you on their ignore list, or don't exist, you need to check and make sure that you are sending the IM to the right user-id. A good example is myself. I am known as 49ers on the board, but my user-id is admin. Another good example is the Bengals. He registered as bengals (his user-id). I capitalized his team name for uniformity, but if you want to send him an IM you must send it to his user-id EXACTLY the way it reads in his profile; bengals. The user-id's ARE case sensitive.

It might be beneficial for everyone to list their user-id if it is different from their board name. I'll go first.
My user-id is admin. Here are a few more I know of.
Team Name - User-id
Bengals - bengals Chiefs - KC_GM Panthers - PanthersWIN Steelers - steelers Texans - texans

Just click on the team's name (in orange) that you want to send a message to. It will send you to an IM window. Just type your message and send it. It will automatically fill in that person's correct user name for you. This seems like the easiest way to IM on this site to me. Try sending one to the Chiefs. You'll see "KC_GM" in the username window. Or try the 49ers and you'll see "admin" Tony P.S. Sorry Sean and Ken if you end up getting a ton of messages because of this.

Thanks Tony, I had forgotten about that method.
