Charles Clay is available. While not a superstar, he is a steady producer who will certainly start for someone this year. Averaged over 9 points a game last year and by most peoples projections will have an even better year this year. At 27 years old, he still has a lot of gas left in the tank.
From Rotoworld: The Buffalo News' Vic Carucci reports the Bills want to get Charles Clay more targets this season.
The coaching staff reportedly identified numerous plays in which Clay was open but not targeted last season, and their goal is to prevent that from happening this year. Clay had a couple big-target games, but he was too often left out of the gameplan. It does not sound like that will happen this season. With Sammy Watkins' health always a question mark, Clay could be in for a big role. May 21 - 1:54 PM
From CBS: Offensive coordinator Greg Roman expects Clay to be more productive this season as quarterback Tyrod Taylor continues to develop, The Buffalo News reports. Roman is known for having productive tight ends, and Clay certainly has the skill set to thrive in this system. The thought also says that Clay was open quite a bit last season, but a green Taylor either didn't notice or was afraid to chuck it over the middle. The Bills plan to have Taylor do that more this season. Finally, the team's only real receiving threat, Sammy Watkins, is far from a picture of model health.
Looking for earlier round picks (5th or earlier) or pick upgrades.
