I'm open to going a few different ways with my team this year, so no one is absolutely out of the question. I've received a few offers for my "better" players, but I'd like to get a gauge for the interest that is out there.
Readily Available
Ben Tate: Unsigned free agent, but who knows? An injury here or there and he could be playing somewhere. The 'Boys just had him in to kick his tires. Obviously could be had on the cheap.
Allen Hurns: Led the Jaguars in fantasy points at the WR position. Most sites have him projected to beat his last years totals (51 Rec, 677 yards, 6 TD's). Certainly worth something.
Preston Parker: Was third on the Giants in targets, receptions and yards at the WR position in 2014. An injury away from strong production this year as well.
Bradley Fletcher: The #6 CB overall last year. Couldn't cover a bed with a blanket, but that means lots of tackles!
DeMeco Ryans: Averaged 10.75 points per game before his injury last year (more than five tackles a game). One year removed from being the #4 keeper LB in the league.
Available
Theo Riddick: Caught 34 balls in limited action last year. According to QB Dan Orlovsky, "Theo's too good to not put on the field. Theo has stuff that you can't coach, that you can't teach, that you're born from God with. He just has an ability to get open better than everyone else." Orlovsky said he believes Riddick can have 60 catches in 2015. Lions are talking about using him in the slot this year.
Demarcus Lawrence: Had a slow start due to injury last year, but showed his potential in the playoffs (2 sacks and a forced fumble). He's being tabbed as an IDP breakout candidate this year.
Picks: 5.03, 6.30, 7.03, 8.30, 9.03
Could Be Talked Out Of
TY Hilton
Michael Floyd
Percy Harvin
Joique Bell
Danny Woodhead
Preston Brown
Cameron Jordan
Johnathan Joseph
Picks: 1.29, 1.30, 3.09, 4.30
