A trade was approved Sunday Night between the Seahawks and Rams. Can't see that it is controversial but wanted to see it processed (or not) in case I want to make other moves before the deadline. Thanks

Line-ups have to be set. Could we please get these trades approved before the deadline please?

Cover yourself and email what your lineup would be with the trade

Cover yourself and email what your lineup would be with the trade I don't have time at the moment, so I'll just put it here: Offense- Detroit TMQB A Ellington A Bradshaw A Johnson E Sanders Balt PK Defense- R Quinn K Mack D Smith J Williams R Johnson No one's playing tonight anyway, but the trade ought to still be approved before the deadline. I hope we'll be able to set them after the fact. Thanks for the advice.

I hear you. I got screwed out of a waiver pick yesterday because my lineup didn't reflect the trade that was approved that would hsve given me an open roster spot

I put them through, guess the other guys didn't see them or something. Thanks Eric. I know life gets in the way. There a couple things I wish we could do next year- extend the trade deadline to after week 8 (like the NFL), & remove the commissioner approval setting the last week so we won't have issues like this. Can we make these 2 things official rule proposals for the offseason?

Thanks Eric. While I'm still a little miffed over losing my waiver claim due to the delay of the trade acceptance life does happen.

I technically cannot process my own trade, just an FYI.
The commissioners had actually discussed making the trade deadline a week earlier. You have to remember 2 things when comparing our deadline to the NFLs:
• We don't have bye weeks, the NFL does • We play a double header in week 2, the NFL does not

I've been around long enough now to know this but can't remember- are new rules voted on? What is the process for making new rule proposals?

Commissioners can install minor rule changes, but major ones are proposed and voted on. Rule change proposals are made in February I believe and voted on in the beginning of March, usually when trading opens. I believe each team is restricted to 1 proposal per league year.
