It was between AP and Brees for me at #2. I thought one of them would go at #1 and make my decision easy. Nope. Since I have Charles and do not pick again until 2.31 I had to go Brees or would likely get the QB dregs...

umm i was sitting on that offer till it came closer to the pick because i figured id see if all my targets were taken first and then i guess it expired or something because when i woke up today it was gone. But i never rejected it so i dont know where it went

Cowboys nice QB pick, I think Bernie Kosar is the only QB working with a Trestman run offense in their first year that didn't significantly improve their stats. Steve Young, Rich Gannon, Jake Plummer and Anthony Calvillo all had improved stats. Cutler should easily join their ranks.

Patrick Willis at 2.19 is an insane value pick. He has the potential to be the #1 LB. Probably not with Bowman but you never know. When I picked at 2.09, I went back and forth between Leveon Bell and Willis. I never thought he would last 10 more picks. Nice job Colts.

Funny since I started making offers for picks before he was even drafted... in order to draft him. Then tried to make a deal for him after he was drafted. There are other friends in the league too, they don't get the heat we get. The offer I made was a fair offer. It wasn't the first I made, negotiations occurred, a deal was made. I don't understand why the who matters. Unless you think collusion is happening, this kind of public comment is unhelpful. And if you think there is collusion, state it, don't veil it. It's no surprise that people who know each other are more comfortable discussing trades & coming to a deal, but the scrutiny is getting to be a little much. ETA: good prognostication btw |

ETA: good prognostication btw Because ifs a joke. On the surface your trade with the Falcons seems legit but the trade between the Falcons and the Vikings was complete garbage. Giving up a late 1st rounder for a late 4th and an early 5th is crap especially since the Vikings didn't even advertise he was looking to trade down. Yes your trade was fair but the other trade in your group stinks. Yes I do think there was collusion. When I received multiple offers for my 1st and then your Vikings buddy picked your favorites team QB I emailed the Titans and told him you'd end up with the Colts team QB. Pretty clever of you to have your Falcons buddy rip him off rather than you so it doesn't look suspicious. Whatever it's a cheap league but every year questionable stuff like this happens and it's getting old so please save us the tears. Full disclosure myself, Titans, Dolphins and Browns are all good friends...I'm also friends with the Jaguars but he doesn't know the rest and the next bs trade you see between us will be the first. I'm sure you and many others will think I'm an ass but whatever I had to get it off my chest. |
