Would someone please explain to me how a backup, 33 year-old RB makes up for the difference between Aaron Rodgers (3rd overall) and Chad Henne (186st overall)? Oh yeah, don't mention the four throw in garbage picks at the end of the draft.

Oh yeah, don't mention the four throw in garbage picks at the end of the draft. I was golfing this afternoon and am a little drunk. I thought that email was a joke. How can this trade be serious? The #3 overall pick for a bunch of crap. I'm all about people managing their own teams but this is by far the worst trade I've seen in this league.

This trade needs to be revoked immediately. That is the most lopsided crap ever...

Return to sender. Alarmingly lopsided trade.

I didn't even realize he was brought in by the redskins. These are valid complaints. I'd like to hear from the Skins about this.

See this is what I dont get. People put THEIR OWN BELIEFS AHEAD OF OTHER OWNERS. How about you actually look at the stats? ? Thomas Jones (so called back-up rb) has been NOTHING short of that the last 7 years(yes his yards were down last year). He has still been a stud, (look at the numbers before you say anything). Then you add on the fact he is a free agent, playing for not only a big contract but a full time starting job somewhere else next year(yes he is also a keeper rb). Now Denver having a lot of injuries already this would give him a rb to start and look to build something over next couple of years. He has a few people to drop and would give him immediate picks to address areas he needs to. The combination Denver recieved will score more points, then what he gave up. Look at the stats and stop putting the oh my god that just cant be a legit deal. However; (pretty funny this is the first trade I have seen reversed after some that have gone down/been called out in the past). If this stays reversed I want my 7.1 draft pick changed. I changed it due to the trade I dont want Morris I want Chris Hope S, Ten

I'll call BS when I see BS. How can you begin to dispute the following:
1. Jones is a 33 year-old keeper - the chances of him having any meaningful role in any season (including this year) are remote at best. 2. By trading the #3 pick for the #186 pick, the Broncos are giving up this year. If that is the case, he could have gotten a ton more for last year's 3rd highest scoring player. (I would have expected that a friend would have explained this aspect to another friend.) 3. The #1 QB taken in this draft was traded for the #30 QB taken in this draft. 4. This is a friend trading with a friend (one of which is a newbie, whom you are SERVERELY taking advantage of). 5. The picks involved in this trade basically upgrade his 8th round pick to a 7th round pick.
If I'm the Broncos owner, I'm pissed. Not for the trade being reversed, but for his friend taking such severe advantage of him. Your integrity in this league has been greatly damaged.
I won't change your pick for you - if one of the other commishes wants to do it, fine. From my perspective, call it a bit of punishment for attempting to pull off arguably the most lopsided trade in the 4-5 years that I've been in this league.

Don't want to believe me:
Published Mon Aug 22 3:04:08 p.m. CT 2011 (RotoWire) After leading the team in rushing attempts last season, Jones is now even less likely to repeat that role, as coach Todd Haley has disclosed that the Chiefs will employ Dexter McCluster almost solely as a running back, as opposed to a hybrid slot receiver.
Analysis: Jones' value has been considered lower this offseason because of the monster 2010 Jamaal Charles had. And now he will also have to compete with the dynamic McCluster for touches out of the backfield. At 33-years-old, Jones has been something of an ageless wonder the past several seasons, but it looks like he is finally giving way to younger, more explosive backs. With the inclusion of McCluster in the running back rotation and the strong possibility of fullback Le'Ron McClain gobbling up his goal-line touches, Jones may face a steep drop off in his production this year.

As per the rules, the trade has been overturned.

Because no other picks were made, I changed the 7.01 draft pick from RB Maurice Morris to S Chris Hope.

I'm glad this was resolved because that trade was the most unbelievable trade I've ever seen, in any league, not just this one.

On another issue, I skipped the Raiders current pick with about 8 and a half hours left on his clock. I'm not waiting another full timer in hopes that St. Nicholas soon will be there.
Raiders, you may make both missed selections at any time. And I'd also like to note that you are def on the hot seat here.
Gracias, Eric

See; AGAIN GET OVER THE FACT THE #2(again LOOK at the facts before you reply) QB SELECTED WAS TRADED FOR THE #30TH SELECTED. Look at the numbers; the total deal, and YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED THE OWNERS (ESPECIALLY THE BRONCOS) ABOUT THE TRADE PRIOR TO REVERSING IT.
Breaking down the numbers the biggest difference is td's thrown, packers qb only out threw in yards by 600 give or take some. Mia addressed their rb issue, bringing in/drafting healthy rb's, and oh yeah by the way a rb that catches a ton.
And if you wanna just throw up site information oh well for everyone you show how Jones is supposedly washed up I can show you ones to the contrary. Again; this should be up to the owners and not commish to determine player value:
According to ESPN.com, Chiefs coach Todd Haley is still counting on RB Thomas Jones in 2011 Haley said Jones, who’ll be 33 during the season, may drop a few pounds from his 220-pound frame. Haley said Jones is in supreme shape, but might be better off being slightly smaller. Jones had 245 carries last season and his production started to falter down the stretch. Haley said he thinks Jones will have fewer carries next year, but he still will be effective in his role.
Now if you woulda asked the Bronco's owner and LOOKED AT HIS ROSTER he has been hit by a rash of season ending injuries; the selections would have given him almost (can't help it owners cant set a preset draft list) immediate needs to address HIS team needs.
Also notice before last season Jones was consistantly in the top 10ish as far as rb & pts scored. So yes he is aging, BUT he is in awesome condition (see coach comments) and is playing for a new contract.
Last tidbit is if you look at what Mia & TJ scored last year they equaled what Packers TMQB did. So not rediculous by ANY standards, just people paying attention too much to a NAME, and not taking anything else into account (ala trying to manage someone else's team for them; without actually looking into the team).
I would like to see what the other 2 commishes weigh-in with, hopefully they look at the numbers/facts and not just the names.
Per league rules 3 of 4 commish must object for a trade to be overturned.

AND TO PROVE MY POINT: Why wasn't the owner/commish watch-dog out when the #2 scoring WR/#10 overall scorer was traded for 2 unproven LATE 4th rd picks? One of which wont even see the field this year as he is already out for the year. Yep point is since Lloyd isnt expected to produce stats like this again (and isnt a BIG NAME) NO ONE cares. Yet this deal is FAR WORSE (again look at the numbers before you reply) then the deal I had reversed. Oh wait damnnnnnn my bad that trade envolved a commish, so nothing to question there
