This discussion was brought up last season, I believe by the Redskins. What is your view of the fairest system?
1. Leave system as it is.
2. Roll waiver order all season. When a team claims a player they are sent to the bottom of the order. When another team makes a claim, they are then sent to the end and the other teams move up a spot and so on.
3. Each team starts the season with a set amount of free agent money. Each week teams will bid free agent money on players they want. Highest bid gets the player, with tiebreaker being overall record and so on. All teams have same shot at all players.

I like #3 but am curious if there is going to be a way to pick someone up after the bidding for the week in case you get overbid on your guy. Or can you put in multiple bids with the idea of only getting your top choice?
How about bidding on the first waiver run for the week and then doing the 2nd waiver run like the old way and charging a minimum dollar amount for that player? That way everyone has a shot at the hot free agents but also if you have a late week injury or get overbid you can still make a late pickup.
Sorry...I don't mean to complicate things but I just want to make sure this has been thought out.

Yeah, we would have all that worked out ahead of time. This is just to see interest right now. We would definately have a backup plan for injuries etc.

Is this something that has passed? how many votes do you need for passing? There will be a new poll up March 1st. Commissioners are finalizing the details right now.
