btw, let's see what the schedule holds for little ole me... 2 games against division opponents: 11-1, 6-6, 5-7 1 game against 9-3 division winner, 9-3 superbowl runner-up, 8-4 team with steve smith, donald driver, reggie brown and domanick davis as keepers, 8-4 team with willis mcgahee and greg jones as keepers, 2-10 team with 3 low first rounders, 6-6 team with reuben droughns (ok that isnt so bad)
...nothing like an uphill battle to brighten the spirits
and still dont get to play the lions :wall:

Who do I have to pay to get the Ravens on my schedule one of these years!

Looks as though you will be playing the Ravens in 2009. That is the next time the Packers play them in real life too.
I think next year we should consider double-headers during the 2 out of conference weeks. This way we will play an entire 4 team out of conference division each year, instead of just 2 teams. Currently we only play out of conference teams every 8 years, surely we can find some way to bring that number down to every 4 years.

I would love to do this so we could play our out of conference opponents once every 4 years as opposed to once every 8.

I look forward to voting on this. I think we would have to carefully choose the weeks in which we would run double-headers though. I don't think we should run any double-headers in weeks in which there are byes. The first reason because all teams should be at full strength if that week will count as 2 games, the second reason being so a crazy bye week score is not counted twice.
Bye week scores are already a risk as it is, we can't be doing double-headers in weeks like that. We would have to do those 2 double-header weeks during weeks 1, 2, 10, 11, or 12.
This would be a great proposal come Feb 1st! Each team can propose 1 change per year, here is one for you, Lions! If you want to propose it, it can be posted publicly or messaged to a commish privately.

I'll propose this cause I'd like to see it happen. Scheduling will be a little difficult because if it's like last year the bye weeks covered weeks 3-9. It's nice to play division opponents at the begining and at the end so maybe we do something like playing a 2nd opponents (out of conference) in weeks 2 & 10. Have one early and one late.
