Why can't they do that Colts? Because if everyone did that we'd never finish the draft. We'd have to start in June. You're right Eric, & I know that. It's just a general observation & now I've said my peace. I just think we need to lighten up on people a little.

I'm as impatient as the next guy (not really), but seriously- this tone needs to change. I've been here 8 years now & I think the general culture of the board has gone downhill. It's not nearly as lighthearted as it once was, & there is a tendency to take potshots (not good natured ones either) at people. There is life outside of FF. People ought to be free to live it without feeling the pressure of getting blasted on a fake football board. We don't know what's going on in someone else's life. As for checking in & leaving, I think people ought to be able to deal with trades on the clock too. If folks can sleep through 12 hours & no one get up in arms about it, why can't someone else take some time & see what they have in front of them & deal accordingly? Just seems a little out of whack to me... Sorry for my "tone", I just made a simple observation. Fact is they were on the site twice while on the clock and yes everyone has a life to live beyond FF. Probably best that I remain silent

Probably best that I remain silent Michael, I appreciate your response. While my comment was made after your's it wasn't directed at you solely. It's just that kind of comment is a common tendency here that I hope will change. It happened on Saturday to me too, while I was traveling, it wasn't intentional, & after I explained you even apologized & said "family first". I'm just suggesting that we give everyone the benefit of the doubt (esp a guy on vacation with family) until it becomes obvious they are blatantly monopolizing the clock, that's all. If that happens the commishes can issue a warning. A good example is what happened the other night when Sam missed his pick. No one complained, & in fact- were even worried. Mark said it, but I was thinking it- I hope everything is OK. And I'm glad it was. I hope I did a better job of explaining what I meant.

Good response Colts. I agree we can lighten up a little but I understand people's frustration. It's all good and with 32 competitive people here there are going to be difference of opinions.
I'm still stunned at the pace of this...we're almost through 4 full rounds in less than 1 week. I recall past drafts having days with only a handful of picks made. Averaging about 2/3 of a round per day in an excellent pace. Let's keep it up.

We are at a great pace, if all owners return next year, maybe we can even start a week later.

It's been years since I've been able to wave my hand & say "these are not the players you were looking for." I miss it

What, you mean everyone in the world isn't as hospitable as a nest of newborn copperheads?

I am a fan of both guys. Took Rawls there, even though I have the 4.31 pick. Would love for one of them to go to Dallas.
