The Patriots have selected Brandon Jacobs for the 5.07 timed out pick. :whut?: Is he even on an NFL roster right now? I gotta tell ya, & this is not just about the Patriots, but I think I've seen some of the worst picks this draft than I have in the 7 years prior to this one. Tony- you need to break out that acrostic again. |

I think the pick timer is off. It says last pick was 40 minutes a ago but it was actually almost 6 hours ago. Unless I am looking at it wrong

Speaking of slowing to a pace, Oakland rejected my trade 3 hours ago and has been on the clock the whole time. Yeah, he was on the site two hours ago and after having already been on the clock for 2 1/2 hours, he still didn't make his pick. What gives? Along the same lines, I think it's time to dig up this chestnut of a post from the 2012 draft comments... Please Remember... Everyone Drafting Really Abhors Freakin' Timers At the risk of accidentally fluffing someone's balls, I'm reposting the requested acrostic. For those who may have missed the subtlety, the first letter of each word spells "PREDRAFT", which is what you should do if you are not going to be able to make your pick when you are on the clock. Also, if you are one of the next few picks, it's generally a good idea to predraft just in case. If you read each word in its entirety, you may come to understand how those of you who are making us wait forever to make our picks feel about that wait.
