Player spotlight: Shonn Greene - if the Titans don’t draft a RB high in the draft, he becomes an easy 10-12 TD/1200-1500 combined yard RB. The Titans have a young, proven OL: drafted Warmack (G) early in R1 and the #1 Center (Schwenke) last year, paid big $$ in FA to Levitre (G) last year, and big $$ in FA to Michael Oher this year in FA for RT – add a rock solid veteran with All-Pro credentials in Michael Roos @ LT. Greene was the #58 RB last year (only played in 11 games), was the clear backup to CJ2K, yet still managed 4 TDs. Recently departed CJ2K scored 10 TDs and tallied almost 1500 total yards – that is a lot of production to replace and right now all they really have is Greene.

If I was you I'd keep him - sounds like he's gonna do well.

Player spotlight: James Jones - the former Packers WR likely becomes the #1 WR in Oakland. Matt Schaub is the new QB for the Raiders and has put up some very respectable numbers while locking into one primary WR (see Andre Johnson). Will Jones be this guy for Schaub in Oakland? One last little nugget - the AFC West is home to the absolutely the worst pass defenses based on last year's passing yards allowed: Chiefs (25), Broncos (27), Raiders (28), and Chargers (29).

Player spotlight: Stedman Bailey - pick 4.17 from last year enters his 2nd NFL season. The talented youngster will have an opportunity to grab a starting WR spot by the end of the year. Asking price is to upgrade a draft pick.

While this trade was in commish limbo, I actually got an offer for Greg Little that I would have accepted. I traded away three guys I was going to keep (that I personlly had minimum values of a 2nd (CM3), 3rd (Greene), and 6th (Little) rounders), plus I added a 3rd. Add in that KC lost his stud LB in Sean Lee yesterday, he was in dire need of help on that front so adding these three keepers was huge for him. Mr. Colt - if you go to the local homebrewers store, you can find some hops that will at least give you a valid reason to be bitter...

(terrible copy & paste notwithstanding) Playoff Bracket: AFC
#5: Houston Texans (147) Houston Texans (168) #4: Baltimore Ravens (118) Houston Texans (148) #2: New York Jets (116) #6: Miami Dolphins (156) Miami Dolphins (107) #3: San Diego Chargers (137) Indianapolis Colts (127) #1: Indianapolis Colts (171) ETA: You mistake banter for bitterness. But I understand, we often reflect our own attitudes onto other people.

Captain Colt - I don't live in the past. That said, I have made the playoffs many more years than I have not during my tenure in this league. I look forward to seeing your squad on the bottom of the standings in the near future.

You probably won't have to look too hard to see me on the bottom. I rarely do well two years in a row. That said, if I do come out ahead of both of you- you'll see bumping this up later. haters.
