So I am completely unprepared this season for the draft. Gonna wing it and hope for the best.

I like the D. Thomas pick. Not so sure about Luck, but he looked good this past week.

I'd have taken Dmac, AP, or Matthews over Wells or Lynch IMO. Those two picks kinda shocked me a little. I like my value at 1.26 with Matthews. Side note, sorry if I stole your guy Tony, I saw you at 1.27 and couldn't imagine a Charger getting past you. Had Matthews not broken his collarbone (yeah he's not injury prone) and AP had been practicing, and DMAC ever actually play 16 games in a season I would have taken them at 1.09. Of course the homer in me couldnt resist Lynch but when DMAC slid to 1.19 I was ready to pounce only to have him taken 1 pick before. Doesn't it always work out that way.

TBH, I couldn't believe he was still on the board, even with the injury, so I wasn't really planning on getting him. When I saw he was still there, I actually expected someone to trade up and snatch him from me. I should've known it would be you, Eric. ;D I do feel like Doug Martin is a heckuva consolation prize though, so I'm fine with the way it worked out. I guess this means I will be watching more Bucs games this year than usual since I also still have V-Jax. P.S. I have Mathews in three other leagues so I can live without having him in this one. ;D

A couple things I noticed:
Lions and Panthers TMQB before the Saints TMQB.
The Packers traded up in the 1st round to grab a Bears RB. He has M Bush, so I get it. But that is still weird.

Yeah, interesting draft so far, especially since being new to the league. The real work starts in round 4!

Nothing wrong with the Beastmode pick. Yeah his upside may not be quite as high as those other backs mention but his floor isn't as low either. Carroll seems committed to running the ball so I see Lynch as a 1200 yard guy with 10 or so TDs. Not real flashy but very solid. McFadden & Mathews both have a chance to blow those numbers away but based on McFadden's injury history and Mathews breaking his collarbone I understand staying away from them with the 9th pick. ADP who knows how he'll come back from a devasting knee injury but that guy is such a genetic freak it wouldn't shock me for him to outproduce all of these guys this year.

BTW, we don't HAVE to take the full 12 hours on each pick here...

Consistency in Stafford and huge upside in Newton. I was taking Newton at 1.05 if Denver hadn't. I just don't like Brees this year.

The frustration is the Titans made a pick and had a pick coming up 2 selections later His first pick was predrafted though, so who knows when he actually did that. He may have actually had the second pick predrafted as well and had his list run out. That happens sometimes. I'm sure Sam will make his pick pretty soon. This is a good opportunity to remind everyone to predraft whenever possible so that we can keep things rolling along.

The frustration is the Titans made a pick and had a pick coming up 2 selections later He predrafted that pick knowing he was going to take a QB. Yesterday morning we were at pick 1.04 so to have 29 picks in a 24 hour period is pretty amazing. I'm sure he wasn't anticipating that and it's difficult to predraft that far out. Though not sure why I'm defending the Titans since he's a chump who's competing for the top spot in clearly the weaker of the 2 conferences. ;D

Just arrived home from a 36-hour vacation. This draft has never gone this fast, so quit your bitching. I pre-drafted a QB by listing about 15 guys. I'm planning on taking at least 2 hours to appease the whiners. I will be evaluating players and will be online. Send me a trade offer too good to turn down and you can be on the clock.

Surprised Andre Johnson fell to 1.19 even with his injury history, even more surprised Cowboys took a WR instead of a RB. Guess it depends on how Ben Tate is used or if Foster gets injured but way to stick to best available player (dang Cowboys I was hoping Johnson would fall 2 more spots)
Even more surprised Fitzgerald fell all the way to 1.16
12 QB's in this years draft compared to 10 last year. This is a QB driven league.
