Darius Heyward-Bey is up for trade. I've done the hard part, now it's time for someone to reap the rewards. I drafted him with a high keeper pick in 2009 only to see him catch 9 balls for 124 yards for the entire season! I wanted to drop him the following season, but I resisted the urge and kept faith that he would come around. I suffered through another season with him, but he did make improvements (if you call it that) - 26 catches for 366 yards. Finally year three (which is supposed to be a big turning point for wide receivers) - Heyward-Bey finally started showing flashes of being a quality NFL wide receiver - 64 catches for 975 yards (missed 2 games as well). FACTS: Ranked 30th in our scoring format for WR/TEs with 192 points (remember it's a 32-team league); has a quality QB in Palmer (see what he did for Housmanzadah/Ohchocinco); very good low-end #1/high-end #2 WR in this league.
Lastly, I'm not trying to sell a lemon here - I have Gronkowski, Colston and Down-town Antonio Brown - those are my three starting WRs - I can carry four but feel the need to diversify my roster portfolio.
I will entertain all offers and respond to all.
